Brain Development
Learner Analysis
The participants in this training are early childhood educators working in licensed child care programs, serving children from 6 weeks to 5 years old. While none hold bachelor's degrees, some have earned associate degrees, and many have gained knowledge through hands-on experience rather than formal education. Their years of experience range widely, from just starting out to over 20 years in the field. These educators are deeply committed to the well-being of the children in their care and are motivated by practical, immediately applicable learning. They thrive when presented with visual, real-life examples that connect directly to their daily routines. Given their busy classroom environments and diverse educational backgrounds, training should be accessible, clearly presented, and focused on strategies they can use right away to support healthy brain development.
